  • When can I move in?

    If there is a storage space available that meets your specific storage needs, you can move in anytime.

  • How much notice do I need to give when I move out?

    We require a 15-day written notice before you move out. Our staff will go over that process at the time of signing.

  • What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?

    All you need is a government issued form of ID (example: driver’s license, state ID, or passport).

  • Do I need to sign a long-term lease?

    No, we rent on a month to month basis unless the customer requests otherwise. However, we offer discounts for customers who sign a lease for a year or longer.

  • What about insurance?

    We care about your contents. Insurance is required, and if you don’t have any, we offer low cost property protection plans. Ask a LockBox Storage manager for more details.

  • Does someone have to be in the office to let me through the security gates?

    No. We offer a separate set of hours for accessing your storage units.

  • How do I make a payment?

    You can either pay in person, through the mail or on our website. You may also sign up to have the payment automatically deducted from your credit card/savings/checking account monthly.

  • What forms of payments do you accept?

    Checks, cash, money orders, VISA or MasterCard.

  • Do you sell boxes and storage supplies?

    Yes, here at LockBox Storage we have boxes and all your storage supplies.

  • How do I know how much storage space I will need?

    You can either use the Size Guide on our website or call the location manager for assistance.

  • Can I stop by to view the facility and storage spaces, or do I need an appointment?

    Stop by anytime between the hours of 12:30PM – 4:30PM Monday or 9AM – 4:30PM Tuesday – Saturday. The office at all of our locations is closed on Sundays.

  • Do I need to bring my own lock?

    We encourage tenants to bring their own locks at time of move-in; however, we also have locks available for purchase on the property.

  • Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?

    Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials and perishables. Please contact us if you have any questions about a specific item.

  • Are there handcarts/dollies available at the facility?

    Yes. You are welcome to use the complimentary carts to move in.
